In this program K-2 students explore the concepts of community and resources culminating in the creation of an assemblage project. Offered as a field trip at the Center or at your school.

OUTREACH DISCOVERY PARTNERSHIP with Children's Nature Institute

Pre-K to 2nd grade students will participate in a 5 week sequential, arts integrated environmental education program. Through multi-sensory exercises with local flora and fauna, field trips to local wilderness and a reuse art center children will learn about ecosystems and conservation. Program will culminate with the creation of a recycled art project reflecting their respect and responsibility for our environment, both natural and human-made. Program is available to Title 1 schools pre-approved by the Children’s Nature Institute.
